Fatima Zahid is a dedicated psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a diverse clinical background across community mental health, crisis intervention, and adolescent-focused programs, Fatima brings broad experience supporting clients through various challenges.
She is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, identity development, grief and loss, and family or relationship conflict. Fatima is especially committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals and those exploring cultural identity or facing systemic barriers to wellness. She also has experience supporting survivors of trauma and those in times of transition.
Fatima approaches therapy through a trauma-informed, person-centered lens, grounded in warmth, authenticity, and curiosity. She believes in meeting clients where they are and co-creating a safe, collaborative space that honors each person’s unique strengths and goals. Drawing from evidence-based practices, Fatima helps clients build insight, develop coping skills, and foster resilience.
She offers both in-person and telehealth sessions and is committed to creating an inclusive and empowering therapeutic experience.
